1972 Oldsmobile 442 Description

Only 1,171 cutlass supreme convertibles were manufactured in 1972 with W-29, 442 option. Only a fraction of these cars were ordered w 4 speed manual transmission. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE CARS! Engine replaced w G code 455 ci Big Block from a 1971 442. Engine totally rebuilt and has only approximately 7,500 miles on it. At the same time, front end complete rebushed with worn parts replaced. Posi-Traction rear end. Interior and exterior restored. Odometer reads 57000 miles, but as it has only a 5 digit odometer, I don't know if it has already gone around once. My plans were to keep car the rest of my life, that's why I put so much money and effort into this car. The ONLY reason I'm selling is that I am moving and will not have a place to store the car as I do now. Car is insured for $50,000 as it would cost at least this much to replace because the car is so RARE. Though I have taken this car to shows, it's not a show car. I have loved driving it for the sheer pleasure. Top has normal wear, but no leaks, is good for another few years. I will gladly respond to serious interest emails.
