1962 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Description

Up for sale is a complete early model 1962 Classic Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 2dr htp. This was a one ownerCalifornia car. It's fromBakersfield/Phoenix which are dry climates. It's 100%RUSTfree, never wrecked, and only has 79K original miles. This car runs/drives.. very well . This is a ground up restoration

The body was stripped to bare metal, all imperfections were fixed, and the body was etch primed. There were 6 coats of DuPont base coat/clear coat applied... and many hours spent wet sanding. but should be redone again. The car cover has rubbed against the body in the wind and caused the paint thin out (in one corner).
The interior (was blue cloth/vinyl) but will need to be completely redone but it's all there. If you do not like Blue, now is the time to change colors

The car has the following options: (working) air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, safety sentinel, tinted glassall, (original) 394/330 4V Sky-Rocket engine, Automatic transmission, working AM radio, and (restored) dash clock.
The difficult mechanical/cosmetic restoration is pretty much complete. Almost everything was replaced, or rebuilt, (not much left to do). One item left was to rebuild the steering box, so there is the usual play in the wheel.
The top half of the motor has been rebuilt. New lifters, rods, and rockers were added. The motor was then reassembled using new Felpro gaskets. The fluids were changed (twice), and a complete tune-up was done.
Rebuilt distributor, put in new points, belts, hoses, motor mounts, brake shoes,
wheel cylinders, wheel bearings, all drums were machined, and new brake lines installed. Has a new speedometer cable, new springs, shocks, and front suspension. The fuel tank was removed/cleaned, and all new fuel lines were installed. The water pump, and fuel pump were replaced, and a new alternator, with voltage regulator was installed.
The original
radiatorand heater core were sent out and professionally re-cored. The 2 speed wiper motor was rebuilt, and a new washer pump was added. New tires were mounted on sandblasted/refinished original rims... I also restored the bumper jack.

The a/c system was evacuated/charged with R134 and blows cold. Allnew air ducts were installed below the dash. All new vacuumlines were installed (both under dash, and under the hood). Rebuilt Rochester 4-Jet carburetor. New dash lights, all new weather-stripping (most still new in packages). The car has all four working T-3 headlights. Everything on the car works (lights, radio, heat, a/c, horn, lighter etc). I rebuilt the clock, and it continues to work.

There are bags of weather stripping, door handles, rubber bumpers etc,

All of the trim is in the trunk, and it is in excellent condition.
I have receipts(3k+)/pictures for everything done to the car.
