Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser Wagon “barn find”
1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Wagon Description
“Barn find” “garage find” Cutlass Cruiser wagon. Owned and stored in garage by last owner since 1983. No rust on it at all. I have been all over it and haven’t found any signs of oxidation. Original 305 Chevy V8 with automatic transmission. I drove the car home about an hour and drove fine without overheating. The valve cover gaskets had shrunk and cracked causing a leak. I replaced them and they haven’t leaked since. I have no idea if any other leaks are present. Ac system in place but belt removed so condition unknown. there is a decal stating has been retrofitted for newer refrigeration gas. Interior is in great shape except for some dry rotted plastic on the door panels.I brought the car home fixed the valve cover leaks, changed the oil and filters. I ordered and installed some window crank handles from Eastwood as well as new rear glass shocks. I bought new door seals for the four doors but only installed the driver door. The wagon has been well taken care of all it’s life. I bought it to save it from being used as a work van. I was getting ready to do an lsx swap on it but my buget fell apart. It would be a quick car with an ls as it only weighs 3400 lbs according to the door. Never seen another one and you will probably be only only one in town with one.The car is as is where is and I make no guarantees. Buyer is responsible for picking up or Making shipping arrangements. I reserve the right to end auction at anytime. Car is listed for sale locally. Bid to win non paying bidders will be reported.
