WHAT A GREAT FIND! THIS IS A ONE OWNER 1965 OLDS 442. THE CAR STILL HAS ORIGINAL PAINT ON IT. PURCHASED FROM THE ESTATE, THE CAR WAS BOUGHT NEW IN MISSOULA MONTANA AT DEMARIOS OLDS AND STILL WEARS THE LOGO ON THE TRUNK.THIS 442 WAS PARKED IN 1981 AND STORED INDOORS FOR YEARS, LATER IT SAT COVERED IN A BARN AND THEN OUTSIDE FOR THE JUST THE LAST 2 YEARS COVERED BEFORE I RESCUED IT . THE OWNER DIDNT WANT TO PART WITH IT!!
THIS IS AN HONEST CAR WITH NOTHING TO HIDE SINCE ITS NEVER CHANGED HANDS OR BEEN MONKIED WITH, TARGET RED WITH PARCHMENT WHITE INTERIOR (THE MICE HAD THEIR WAY WITH THE STUFFING IN THE SEATS). THE BODY LOOKS VERY SOLID WITH SOME DENTS ON THE REAR FENDER AND PASSENGER DOOR, PROABABLY FROM MOVING THIS CAR AROUND OVER THE YEARS AS IT WAS NOT WRECKED. THE FRAME IS SOLID WITH SURFACE RUST FROM SITTING. FLOORS LOOK GOOD SINCE ITS A MONTANA CAR IT DIDNT RUST OUT LIKE A CAR FROM THE EAST COAST ETC. THERE IS A RUST SPOT UNDERNEATH PROBABLY FROM MICE PISS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE BACK SEAT CORNER PAN UNDERNEATH. TRUNK IS SOLID WITH SURFACE RUST FROM MICE AND SOME SMALL HOLES AS SEEN IN PICS BUT NOT A WEAK PAN COMES WITH TWO EXTRA WHEELS, JACK AND HUB CAPS AS SHOWN. REAR LOWER QUARTERS HAVE SOME SMALL HOLES. DOORS SHUT NICE ALL GLASS IS VERY GOOD. COMPLETE ORIGINAL INTERIOR, RADIO, DELUX SEAT BELT, POWER DRIVERS SEAT
THE CAR IS COMPLETE BUT NEEDS TOTAL AND COMPLETE RENOVATION AND RESTORAITON. THE ORIGINAL ENGINE DEVELOPED A PROBLEM IN THE EARLY 70'S AND WAS REPLACED BY A 1968 455ci ENGINE FROM ANOTHER CUTLASS
ENGINE IS A 45, IM SURE ITS STUCK FROM SITTING, EITHER WAY IT ALL NEEDS TO BE REBUILT. CAR ROLLS EASILY BUT THE STEERING COUPLER IS BROKEN SO IT CANT STEER. THE WHEELS CAN BE TURNED EASILY FROM SIDE TO SIDE WITH THE FRONT END JACKED UP.
THIS IS A GREAT RESTORATION PROJECT, PLEASE ASK QUESITONS BEFORE BIDDING. THIS IS NOT FOR A DREAMER WHO THINKS A WEEKEND OF TINKERING AND A NEW BATTERY WILL HAVE THIS 442 SAILING DOWN THE ROAD. THIS IS FOR A PERSON THAT WANTS A RARE CAR TO RESTORE FOR A CHEAP PRICE.
WILL SHIP ANYWHERE, WORLD WIDE
SOLD AS IS FOR RESTORAITON. SOLD WITH ALL FLAWS KNOWN AND UNKNOWN
INSPECTIONS WELCOMED BEFORE AUCTION ENDS, ASK QUESITONS
