1988 Oldsmobile Touring Regency Sedan
1988 Oldsmobile Regency Touring Deluxe Description
Hello....
Hi, You are looking at The Poster Child of Oldsmobile's 1988 Touring Sedan!!!
The only reason I am selling this Amazing Car, is because of the Almighty Dollar......Otherwise, I'd keep it for LIFE.
Its 30 years young, and I'm looking for the right new home for this GEM. I've done my best as the second owner to give it as much TLC as I could.
It needs attention on a few parts, but overall it is in Great shape for its age and use. Has a lil over 122,000 on the original 3800 series motor, which
some argue is the Most reliable GM engine, ever made.
I'm adding in a spare fuel and oil filter, a brand new large can of Gun Metal Metallic touch up paint and a Haynes Repair Manual.
If you are looking for a RARE RIDE with Luxury and Comfort..... You have found your STALLION!!
Your looking at Classic Cruiser...I love this car...but am finishing my education in Horticulture, i am going to be a tree doctor! and i have to let this car go to pay for my Degree...
VERY RARE 1988 Oldsmobile Touring Sedan, this vehicle has 7/11 options available at the time of manufacture!
The asking price is based on Estimated worth given it's unique presence and the work that needs to be completed before it's showcase worthy.. Body and interior is in good/great shape for age... Beautiful American Luxury Sedan. Email for more info if interested .
The model was introduced during Oldsmobile's 90th anniversary year to compete with the large sports sedans from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Saab. It was based on the regular production Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight and used its 165 hp 3.8L V6 but included the W12 Touring Sedan option package consisting of custom leather bucket seats with 6 way power, center console with floor shift, real wood interior trim, Treves anti-lock brakes, 15 (later 16) inch aluminum wheels, black wall tires, FE3 suspension, full gauge cluster (tachometer, 120 mph speedometer, oil, volts, temp, and fuel gauges), gray body side trim, custom steering wheel, special grille, special tail lamp trim, body color lower bumpers, fog lamps, sporty exhaust, and special Touring Sedan badges, and full power 2 way sunroof!
Front passenger window does not work. Drivers side arm rest is loose and needs to be re-attached.Front rotors need to be replaced. Antenna does not work. Short in speakers. Minor scratches and a couple tiny dents near gas tank.
The Touring Sedan carried a base price of just over $24,000 USD (approximately $50,594 in current dollars) in 1987. Given the car's late introduction in the 1987 model year, changes for 1988 were relatively minor. Has a few small things and scratches to attend to, to get this vehicle "Show" worthy... Recently had about $1500 worth of new parts, tune up and tires . This Touring Sedan has 7/11 options that were available!! I am the second owner . This car is in Good shape for the year and needs some work to get it to the car shows. Thanks for reading, JamesOn Feb-19-18 at 12:02:04 PST, seller added the following information:
