1958 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Description
Buyer won the auction last week but has disappeared and has refused to pay! So... here we go again.
Up for sale is my 58 Olds Super 88 sedan. All soli, all stee, no dents no bondo no major cancer. Small bubbles here and there. So I had this car sent out to be painted last may before I went to a police academy. I expected to come home to a beautiful paintjob and the car better than how I left it. It was totally torn down, stainless taken off and done right. Or so I had hoped. So after having my car for nearly a year i just got it home. The paint job isn't horrible however he chipped the paint in some spots reinstalling the trim, he has dirt and debris in the roof he has stainless reattached loose or not at all. Basically he did a terrible job and created more work for me. He did not do as well as he claimed he would so I have a car in pieces now and I honestly am disgusted and just want to move on. Pearl white and metallic blue roof and scallop. The car has a running 371 but needs the carburetor rebuilt. Drives but has a trans leak. All new brake, shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, power brake boosterAll new ignition partsNew gear reduction starterNew passenger front door glass- original is brokenBrand new re chromed front bumperNeeds complete interior restoration its all there its all complete all door panels are inside car but have been removed when it was painted. Will need stainless clips to reattach some of the moldingsThe car had all perfect stainless before it went out for paint but sever pieces came back damaged. Most of the stainless is very very nice.Missing one piece of stainless front passenger fenderBack bumper is like new.

Just needs someone with the time, patience, and resources to get her rolling through your town again. This experience with this painter has me uninterested in the car and I just want it gone.Clean and clear NJ titleVin number in ad is not correct I just filled it in with random numbers.
