Up for auction is a very nice original 1962 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Town Sedan which has always been a California/Arizona car until a year ago. I purhased the car in December 2017 from a dealer in Tennessee, who took it on a trade from the previous owner in Arizona, and had it brought to South Carolina. The car has factory options including deluxe wheel discs, power seat, power brakes, power steering, factory radio, and safety sentinel buzzer. Oddly, the car does not have power windows or factory air conditioning. The tires are brand new and the car runs and drives well. The carpeting was replaced and seat covers were installed over the original upholstery. These covers are now in need of replacement or removal to reveal the original upholstery underneath. The door panels and headliner are in mint condition. The dash pad exhibits several cracks and has a carpeted pad over it. The car received a first-class repaint in the original Cirrus Blue recently. The bumpers and all chrome pieces are in excellent condition as you can expect from a desert car. There is no know rust on the body or underneath that I am aware of. The previous owner removed the trunk lining, but the spare tire and jack are intact.
I am selling the car due to not having the time to give it the attention it deserves. It has always been garaged as the condition attests. Please email through eBay with questions and I will do my best to answer them. Bidders are welcome from the 48 contiguous United States only, please. Also, you must have a successful eBay bidding history in order to place a bid on this car. Thank you for your interest and good luck bidding!
