This 1958 Bliss by Surrey car is an all steel full size replica of a 1903 curveddash Oldsmobile. The Bliss by Surrey was manufactured in Canton, Ohio. Thecompany made 500 cars.
This car gives you an unusual driving experience because of your seating locationand steering with a tiller instead of a steering wheel.
If you want a project car that would be great fun and parade worthy, this wouldbe a good starter car. We are downsizing and eliminating projects.
This car did not come with a title so will be sold with a bill of sale.
It has an 8 HP M-9 Cushman gas engine, electric start, 6 volt electrical system,two speed forward - one speed reverse. Approximate top speed is 35 MP (nospeedometer).
The headlights and tail lights are in a box.
The Amish made wood spoke wheels are in good condition but need refinished.(The wheels were originally painted red and was my intent to refinish them naturalwood with varnish.)The tires are flat and need replaced.
The surrey top (Removeable frame only, no cloth.)
This car has not run in a few years. Some of the electrical parts are in a box. We ran this carusing the kick start option.
