442 vin decoded numbers match
1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Description
This is a real 442 convertible. The numbers match, the engine may have been changed at a dealer at one point as warranty replacement. The transmission, and rear, original. The better news is it may be a rare hurst olds 442. Need more research on that. The 442 came with a 400 BB, while the hurst olds in convertible came with a 455. Which is whats in this car. The motor does not run, and it does not turn. I am trying to free it up. The ugly: Need qtrs, fenders, and the interior floor pans are good, except for the drivers front area. Look at the pictures, and feel free to ask questions.
On Sep-10-18 at 01:53:52 PDT, seller added the following information:It was brought to my attention that the Hurst Olds did not come out in 68. So this is 442, and not a Hurst olds 442. I cannot delete the section that says that in the description. The buy now price or reserve is 5k
