1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 (Under 100,000 Miles, Garage kept, Only two owners)
1977 Oldsmobile Other Description
This vehicle is in great shape it has always been in the family it was bought new by my grandfathers uncle. Its only been driven around the Eastern North Carolina & Virginia area its mostly been kept in the garage most of its life. My grandfather inherited it from his uncle a couple years ago we've only used it for car shows and special occasions. All miles on this car are easy miles my grandfathers uncle was a mechanic at the U.S. Post Office & he kept all his vehicles serviced regularly. The A/C worked when we had got it only for a short while compressor still comes on. Probably just needs to be recharged, but the system needs to be converted over from R12 to 134a. No oil leaks, transmission, or differential leaks. The oil is changed regularly & in the past two years there has been fresh transmission fluid added as well. The exhaust system was replaced in the early 2000s also just replaced water pump about a year ago. When we first got it we dropped the tank & cleaned it out & changed both filters. There was also some fuel lines replaced because they were dry rotted. The car runs great & rides like a boat it rides like new. Still has the original AM Radio in the car when it was new still works antenna is built in the windshield. Tires are in good shape the tread is still good they do not appear to have dry rot the spare tire is also in good shape. This vehicle does have cruise control, but doesn't currently work.
