1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Description

This is a original real Cutlass SX, it is the SX 455 Registry and is a numbers matching car, motor trans and rear. I will tell you the car drives amazing and would not hesitate to drive this any where. I will list the things that it still needs and the things that are already done so far. The vehicle shows 74100 miles on it and last titled in 2010 with 63158 on a Pa title, not sure if it is a original 74100 miles but wanted to state what the car and title show. The 455 was rebuilt 2200 miles ago at a cost of $6100, at that time the intake was changed to a 4 barrel elderbrock carb. The car has a great sound to it which makes me believe the cam was stepped up a little, car has stock manifolds and again sounds amazing. The car has the original 400 turbo trans in it, pan leaks a little and i bought a new pan gasket and fluid but have not had time to replace it. The vehicle has a 2.56 stock posi in it with the factory 12 bolt rear.
This car has a ton of factory options which makes it really unique, power windows, power locks, tilt wheel, air condition that was switched over and works ($1000 cost 2 years ago) power bench seat, power trunk release in the glove box, power steering, power brakes, am-fm, 8 track, tach, power top just replaced 3 years ago $1800, door edge gaurds, interior hood lock, comes with a new one as the original is broken, I am sure I am missing a few more..The car has 3 build sheets to show all the options and also shows the y79 pkg showing it is a real SX Convertible and 1 or 791 made..
I can go on and on about this car how cool and rare it is, but it is 46 years old and still needs some work...It is a great driver, but to take it to another level you will have to do some things. I have over $15,000 in receipts that was spent on the car over the past 5 years..I will list the little things i was going to do..
I have a new interior hood latch needs to be put on, I have 4 cans of factory engine paint I was going to have the intake and motor painted, I have the transmission pan gasket and fluid, I have 4 Oldsmobile SSI rims that I was going to put on the car to break up the gold wheels...The car needs the power seat switch, it works but the little knob is broken, again seat works..I was going to redo the front and rear seat covers, disconnect the keyless remote the past owner put on for the door locks, fuel gauge does not work, the coolant gauge is not accurate, I bought a new throttle cable to be installed, the old one is a little still, there is a little rust on both fenders and a few blemishes on the car...Very solid car with 1 repaint in the mid 80's...The trunk, 1/4s doors are extreamly solid..The front floors the previous owner had 2 floors fixed, not the best job ..But I have both new front floors to go with the car..So, the car comes with alot of stuff to finish, I have driven the car the way it is and had no issues...The original am-fm - 8 track work but need to hooked up as the previous owner put in a after market radio that I had removed to the floor with intentions of putting it in the glove box hidden..You will see in the picture, rust bubble on the pass fender by emblem, the drivers lower fender slight bubbles..My body guy said both are easy fix, to fix and a great paint job $3500...Including the front floor boards...Dont miss this..
I am selling a few of my cars because of a recent life changing event, I lost my 25 year old Son and my Father in the past 2 weeks..So, I have no intrest in working on cars for now..Sure, I can cover them up and let them sit..Butwont... The car is very rare..If it were a 70 Chevelle 454 with these options it would be over $100,000, if it were a 442 with these options $75000+, and this car is rarer then both of those...Great buy for someone...
