1970 Oldsmobile 442 RARE REAL 442 CONVERTIBLE Description

$17,900 BUYS IT! I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION EARLY AS IT IS ADVERTISED LOCALLY. INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEAS BUYERS WELCOME. PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 8O5-803eight WITH ANY QUESTIONS. The Olds is located in San Diego. I purchased this car from the 92 year old owner that had the car since the early 1970s. This is an extremely solid example of a hard to find Muscle Car. It is a REAL 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible that can be driven and enjoyed today. The car is a lifelong California rust free car. It is a true #344 VIN 442. Not a clone, replica, tribute, or whatever other fancy word people are using for a fake these days. It is very rust free. The body is excellent. The floorboards and frame are excellent. The Olds runs and drives like a new 1970 442. The engine was rebuilt about 8000 miles ago. I have the receipts. It is smooth, strong, and fast. It is powered by the Rocket 455 and mated to a Turbo 400 transmission. It is well optioned with power steering, power front disc brakes, power top, and factory air conditioning. It was re-painted once in 1982 but the paint is now tired. It is faded and has plenty of chips and scratches. It really deserves a cosmetic restoration such as paint, interior, and a new top. It looks fine for a fun beach cruiser but is such a good car that somebody needs to take it to the next level.
The brakes are all completely new. I have the receipts for those as well. The front bumper is new. Factory original wheels. Drive and have fun with this Olds today and take it any direction you want. It is a solid drivable original car, not a restored car nor is it priced like one. I have tried to be as upfront as possible. Please be realistic with your expectations. I already have a 1970 Camaro and a 1967 Corvette. I need some room.Clean, clear California title in hand. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County Coastal San Diego.
I can help with transportation either getting it loaded on a truck or assisting you however I can at the buyer's expense. Inspections are encouraged but must be completed before the end of the auction. $1000 non refundable deposit due at auction end and remaining balance due within three working days.
