1952 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Description

"1952 OLDS HOLIDAY 88"
This very cool mild custom spent its life in California until I bought it 5 years ago. The previous owner did a great job with the body mods. Shaved, slightly peaked hood, frenched headlights, eliminated the filler cap door, extended quarters to accommodate 53 Olds tail lights and painted it this satin lime. I never would have picked this color, but its really nice and gets plenty of looks. The beautiful pearl interior really compliments the green.
Since I have owned the car I replaced all the weather stripping, converted from 6 to 12 volt with new alternator, new radiator, re-plated all of the chrome, and put on a new set of wide white radials. The motor is the original Olds 303 with automatic transmission. The car fires right up and runs great.

*** A guy asked about the gas tank so I thought I should clarify. A Mustang gas tank has been welded into the trunk. This was done when the filler door was eliminated. It's a poly tank, and its a very nice job. I installed a programable receiving unit so the fuel guage is compatible with the Mustang sending unit and is now functioning properly.
