1938 Oldsmobile F -- Description

Founded in 1897 by Ransom E. Olds. Oldsmobile produced autos under the GM nameplate for most of its existence. It produced over 35 Millions automobiles until its demise in 2004. It was noted for groundbreaking technology and design for many different products. It also most notable as one of the oldest marques in the world behind Peugot, MAN and Tatra. Another introduction was the 4-speed semi automatic transmission that was brought out in 1938. This particular F series car is... the popular 4-door with suicide doors and the car has been completely gone through sometime ago but still shows and drives very nicely. It is equipped with a 350 V8, aluminum intake, edelbrock carb, electronic ignition, headers, electric cooling fan mated to a 700 R4 automatic transmission. It also equipped with power steering and brakes, Vintage Air Conditioning, power windows, guage package and a killer stereo system. The paint still shines very nicely and the American Racing Wheels are a nice touch as well. This car starts and runs like new. The interior is extremely comfortable with everything in operational condition. The tires and brakes are good and the car has had a fresh service. It is ready to go.
