1966 Oldsmobile Starfire Description

This 1966 Oldsmobile Starfire was purchased new on August 26, 1966 from Olson Oldsmobile in Seattle, Washington. The original owners later sold it to their son, who took it to California, and stopped driving it in 1996.

We have the original window sticker, contract and protecto-plate, so we know that it has:

Only 13,019 Starfires were built in 1966 so its pretty rare now!

As you can see from the pictures, it sat for a long time, fortunately indoors ! And it will need to be restored. I got the engine to fire and run for a short time. It will need the full wake-up to be done, including brakes, fuel system cleanout, and I'm sure other things before it can be driven again.

The body is in good shape, and the rockers, floors, and trunk are remarkably solid and rust free. I noticed some rust bubbles on both front fenders behind the wheel, and the rear quarters behind the wheel.

The interior is all original, and will need new seat upholstery, carpeting and headliner. The glass is all in good shape.

It's a great survivor car, and would be a fairly easy car to wake up and bring back to life
