This for a 1969 Olds Toronado This is a very well preserved car with only 50973 miles showing,which I believe to be correct.It has been garage kept it whole life.It was bought new and this area and has been here since new.It was bought new by a Col. James Luckett on April 30 1969.He ordered the car.It is equipped unique for a Toronado.It was ordered with manual windows and NO vinyl top but has a 8 way power seat,All a plus in my opinion.I have all the original paperwork and even the original manufacturers statement of origin.This is a 2 owner car from the same family.It is completely rust free.It had a repaint back the original color in the early 90's Tahatian Turqouise(Blue)There was NO rust or body damage ever.The car is VERY straight.The paint has held up good but could use a good detail.There are a few spots of discloration that may buff out.The car was driven up until 2004 when it was parked in the garage and sat.I bought the car in April 16 and got it running again.It runs great and the A/C still blows cold and is still holding r 12.I installed a new master cylinder but the brakes will need bleeding.The tire look like new and are not dryrotted but are over 13 years old according to receipts.I have all the original paperwork including the original sale contract and owner manual and dealer brochures.I have new carpet for the trunk plus the original rubber mat.I replaced the trunk drain tubes with the correct new ones.There were a couple of wires under the hood that had been chewed by rodents but nothing bad,they where replaced with the same color factory wiring from another Oldsmobile.They seemed to really like the rubber hoses for the headlight doors though.I have new lines that will come with the car that will need to be installed.I run a line directly to the motor while it was running and the vacuum opened both covers with no problem.The gas tank will need to be drained.The gas doesn't really smell bad but it is OLD.The tank looks clean on the inside of what I can see.I have it disconnected and running off a gallon jug under the hood for now.The exhaust is good with the exception of the original muffler which is blown open due to a back fire at one time,from the points being off.It has new points now and runs smooth.The interior of this car is almost mint.I added the rare olds Boomerang 442 wheel,but I have the original steering wheel that will come with the car.It is Perfect.The dash is perfect with NO cracks.The seats are excellent with the exception of the drivers side bottom where the cloth insert is coming loose from the vinyl,this can be resewed.The carpet and headliner are excellent.The door panels are perfect and have no cracks.They open and shut like new.This is a very tight car.All the glass is good.The car will crank and drive upon a trailer or transport truck with no problem,but it will need the gas tank flushed and the brakes bled to be drivable and I am sure a few other small things.It is full of clean anti freeze and the trans fluid is very clean.This will be a Beautiful car with a little elbow grease and love.
