1971 Opel Other Description

Up for sale is a 71 Opel GT with Clear Title. Car is basically ready to put together. Body is welded and prepped to put Bondo on. It is sitting in my Shop for almost 10 Years without significant progress on it. I have a lot of use for the space this Project takes and I am willing to give it up to the benefit of others, ore important projects.

The buy now option reflects only the material I have in it and comes with it, ot the countless hours I spent on it.

This is a real Father / Son Project without the agony finding out you don’t have all the special tools to finish it. You need time, otivation and a common set of tools everyone has, hat’s it

Here is what you get:

ð Finish welded Body as a roller.

ð Rivet on Steinmetz fender Flairs

ð Front axle on Body is stock, second one is completely rebuild with polyurethane bushings, ew rubber brake lines, ainted and new hubs for Crager SS 5 lug Mags. These hubs will allow Stock break Calipers and pads. Calipers are rebuild and Painted.

ð New front Tires on Crager SS 8”x14” mags

ð Stock rear Axle housing with “Moser Racing” inner axles. The axles are custom made with the original Opel spline for the Differential and 5 Lug pattern for Crager SS mags. Rear brakes are stock. New brake lines installed on rear axle

ð New rear Tires on Crager SS 10”x14”

ð Original front and rear Hubs and axles

ð 2 Windshields

ð New Gasket set for windshield

ð 1 Engine partial rebuild (new Bearings and head redone) already broke in on test stand. Engine set up with Solex Mikuni Side draft carburetor and racing cam. Carbs and Cam came from a hill climb race car in Germany.

ð One extra Engine (need rebuild)

ð One extra Engine Block cleaned, o cracks ready to be bored

ð Several Boxes with Engine parts

ð Three transmissions (all goo, eady to go), traight drive

ð Nice dash no cracks

Part of the sell is the rotisserie specifically built for this car

I do not have the carpet, riginal steel rims, teel brake lines and Exhaust system. Opel GT source in California is the best Address to get the missing parts. These Guys are very knowledgably and affordable.

At this point you can decide to go Stock or hot rod it. There are basically all parts to go both ways.
