FULLY Restored 1971 Series 2 Iso Grifo.

Custom paint: Rosso Vic Lamborghini Cherry Red

HISTORY:

The series 2 cars are the rarest of the Grifos and the most sought after for the collector.

Only 78 series 2 cars were produced from 1970 to 1974 vs. 322 series 1 cars.

The rarest of the rare are the series 2 small-block Chevrolet cars with the ZF-5 speed transmission. Only 23 cars were built with this transmission. Add the small block 327 corvette motor and you have a highly collectible car.

This car was shown at the Quail Gathering during the Pebble Beach Concorso week 2012

An unrestored Iso Grifo Series 2 car was just sold at Gooding Auction in Pebble Beach 2016 for: $511,500

THIS CAR:

This car was a 5 year restoration using only the finest components. Bare metal repaint was performed using high quality PPG paint. Rosso Vic Lamborghini Cherry Red is the exterior color. Panel fit on this car is excellent. All of the suspension was rebuilt using factory Jaguar components as were the rebuilds on the calipers by XKS JAGUAR RESTORATION.

This car used the same leather that Ferrari uses in its cars. The all leather and Alcantara interior combined with diamond stitching in contrasting red stitching on the seat and door panels is beautifully done.

ENGINE: The 327 cubic inch. Engine was built by master engine builder Joe Sherman of Joe Sherman racing engines.

The engine was completely gone through using all new parts along with a complete blue print and balance. The heads have been completely rebuilt using all new parts and keeping all the stock components where needed.

The engine was tuned on the engine dyno by Joe Sherman in his shop.
