1957 S120¾-Ton 4×4 PickupTruckon a 126-inch wheelbase. This is an investment qualitytruckthat israrelyseen, much less in near perfect condition for a 60 year oldtruckwith no rust but yet still having the right amount of PATINA
Three-quarter-ton Binder 4x4s are rare and this one is mostly original . Thetruckhad been re painted over the years as needed but still has the old lacer paint. Iwas told it was neverregisteredand just use on a farm in CO to feed theanimals. Overall, the glass panels are in very good condition and may have been replaced. All of thetruck's lights are in great shape. Thistrucksrolls on new tires, sized 7.50-16, surrounding steel wheelies topped with full moon International-Harvester wheel covers. There's also a full-size spare tire on the passengers side of the bed, complete with matching wheel cover. All of thetruck’s body panels are straight, solid and rust free but does has chips. The cargo bed has it dings and wear since it was a working farm truck but has since beenpaintedto protect it from rush.
The engine bay is very tidy and the battery is new, she does leaks some oil but that part of it charm. Remember itoriginala throw back it time no power steering or power brakes and not arestoredpieceof jewelry. If your goal is to find a great truck torestoreand make money then this is the truck for you. Under the hood is a Black Diamond 240 CID inline six-cylinder engine mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Thistruckhas the following additional newparts-brakes, shocks, starter, alternatoras well asnew wiring for a 12-volt electrical systems in addition to a Blue tooth stereo system hidden under the seat.
Inside, the newly upholstered bench seat is in excellent condition. There are black floor matting and the metal as well astruck’soriginalheadliner are wear which provide that patina In general everything seem to be in good working order. The instrument panel has full instrumentation and looks fantastic..The original, four-spoke steering wheel is present but cracked and the radio has been replace withanin dash IH factory radio ( but with different holes). and a 1950 speak sitting on the floor which look cool soInever touched it. The original headliner is black and goes with the black bench seat. Rounding out the interior is this unique farm truck the 4 speed manual gearshift as well as your 4x4 levers.
This is the very LAST YEAR of InternationalS-Seriesand the great rounded “MATOR” look … It replaced by the A - Series (or A-line) in April 1957 . The name stood for “Anniversary,” as 1957 marked the 50th (or Golden) Anniversary of International-Harvestertruckproduction.

The newA-Serieswas largely a re-bodied version of the light and medium S-Seriestruck, incorporating a wider cab, wraparound windshield and more integrated fenders. The new lower design necessitated a slight hump in the cabin floor. The truck now had a square front end making it look like a truck of the 60”s. and it deleted the running boards. The hood in myopinionlost it charm andfunctionalityby now being hinged in the rear, rather than being a lift-off unit. The parking lights were mounted above the headlights. There were A-100 to A-180 series models available, with Gross Vehicle Weight ratings ranging from 4,200 to 33,000 pounds. A step-side bed remained standard, but a new flush-sided “Bonus Load” bed was an option for the first time.
Competitors to this Binder in 1957 included Chevrolet's 3100 Task Force pickups, GMC's Blue Chip pickups, Ford's F-Series and Dodge's C-Series.
Thistruckis currently located in West Palm Beach and yes a local daily driver. Current mileage on the odometer shows 63,000 miles It's is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, title.
