1915 Other Makes G80 Description

I took this out of a Maine barn last week. The car is mostly complete. The engine turns over easily, and it has compression. (Note that it has its original AK timer and the original Mayer carb.) The car has the fairly rare and valuable WIRE WHEELS, and hub covers are screwed securely in place, so you know the hubs haven't been beaten. A very nice original set of headlights, plus two original rims in good shape come with the car. The fenders are okay and repairable. There is no interior, but an original windshield with non-safety glass comes with it. There is no electric starter (they are available) but the flywheel is set up for electric start. I have a replica Saxon hood medallion that will go with the car. Radiator looks good. The chassis has been restored and is in very good condition. The body needs work, both rust/metal repair and wood. The car comes with a set of top bows. It would be possible to make it look like it did in 1915. But with those wire wheels, a speedster might be even more fun. Saxons are light and quick...back in the teens, it made a great racer. The car is sold with bill of sale only, and must be moved from my barn in Maine by mid-October.
