1967 Morris Minor 2 door coupe
Up for dale is my 1967 Morris Minor 2 door coupe. This Morris has had a full restoration completed last year. Carefully sand blasted to bare metal, she was completely rust free with a clean and straight body. Single stage acrylic enamel in its’ lovely color of mint metallic green throughout. All seals, felt, rubber, grommets, hoses, cables or small wear items have been replaced. All new brake lines, brake shoes and the master and wheel cylinders have been replaced. All headlights turn signal, and tail lights have been replaced. Sound suppression was installed prior to the new carpet, and door cards. All seats were completely rebuilt with new under seat straps, foam and materials. Added am/fm/cd player and rear window defroster. New tires. The engine was completed rebuild with new internal components. The engine purrs like a sewing machine. Starts right up in a touch of the key. Incredible oil pressure and runs cool as a cucumber. The rib-case four speed transmission is in great shape with no chipping on any of the gear teeth and the synchros look brand new. Just a good take a part, cleaning, inspection and re-assembly. New clutch, pressure plate and throughout bearing. Flywheel was resurfaced, and this Morris shifts perfect. We are moving on with our next project and we need the room in the shop. Please review the pictures. If you have any questions, please contact me. I have hundreds of pictures of the restoration and receipts for documentation. Will help with shipping. The car will drive on trailer or transport.
Neg: Speedometer is a bit quirky. Brakes could use an adjustment.
Pos: Super fun to drive. Goes anywhere. Great gas mileage.
