1946 Hudson Pickup Truck Super Six Model 58 Same owner for 40 years! The previous owner restored the truck over a 20-year period. It starts up immediately, the motor runs whisper quiet, and has plenty of power on acceleration. The engine is a Hudson Hornet Twin H-Power 6-cylinder with dual carburetors. The 3-speed transmission shifts smoothly and does not jump out of gear. It has straight cut gears, so it does make a humming sound in first and second gears. The floors are rust free. The frame also appears to be in excellent condition. The paint is very presentable but has some orange peel. No sign of rust in the body. There is one quarter-sized bubble on the left edge of the hood and some blemishes in several areas above the rear window. The hood springs are missing. The truck bed is wood slat and stainless with sides painted in black spray-on box liner. The glass is in good condition with no cracks but with some minor surface scratches.
