Built from 1972-76, this two-seat convertible sports car was praised for its handling with 50/50 weigh balance and Lotus dual overhead cam motor. This 1973 Mark I features smaller front and rear bumpers as the larger 5 mph bumpers were mandated for 1974-76.... Exterior: This car has been repainted GM Chalet Blue. The paint is showing its age and has a few chips that have been touched up. There is one small ding on the top of the front right fender, but no other dents or rust. The top is in good condition with no tears. Interior: In good shape with minimal wear. Seats show very little wear, no tears or seam rips. No cracks on the dash. Heater fan does not operate. Motor and Driveline: the 1973cc Lotus 907 dual overhead cam, 16-valve all-alloy engine purrs with rebuilt dual Stromberg carburetors. New cam belt, fan belt, valve cover gaskets, electric fuel pump and Pertronix electronic ignition. The four speed transmission shifts well. Cooling has been upgraded with heavy duty aluminum radiator, new hoses and electric cooling fan. Suspension is simple but effective with double wishbone and coil springs at the front, and a live rear axle with trailing arms and coils at the rear. New Front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.
