1919 Mack bulldog chain drivemodel AC truck.
Originally used as a tractor to haul a ladder truck for city of Minneapolis, (see photo)later outfitted with a wrecker for use with the fire department. We believe the low millage of 1625 is correct. There is no wear on the chains and the motor, clutch, brakes, transmission, run like a top. Being for the fire service this Bulldog was fitted with dual ignition and an electric start that works great. This truck has a huge 4 cylinder engine. No wonder they called them bulldogs. Solid rubber tires are worn but run OK. Seats redone. Wood solid. We have driven this truck to local car shows. Running boards could use replacement, some rust spots here and there. Paint is mostly OK. With some TLC and sorting out this is a fine example. Out of long term storage, we awakened this beast last summer. Boy does it sound good. Will store for one month soyou can arrange pickup. Located in northern Maine. Call 207-286-5483 for more info. No title as it has not been registered for a long time. Bill of sale only. Sold as is-where is. Reserve price is way below market on this rare low mileage example.
