Up for sale is a 1928 REO Speed wagon THERE IS NO TITLE the truck starts and runs good no engine noises has the original engine and drive train with only 3300 miles the brakes do NOT work the tires are very old but still hold air . The truck sat outside for a lot of years and has surface rus, There is one spot on the cowl that does have rust thre, The siren does work the seat is in good condition The previous owner took the pump off and the tank off to start restoring and then he died . The pump is a howel 3 cylinder piston pump model HRS chain driven The pump was dimantel to put in new leather rings . The pump is all there, and good good shape with no damage the only thing i can find missing are the 2 1/2 discharge valves and the pipe going to the tanks . The round water tank is solid copper and nice shape and would polish up great, The hose reels where also taken off but are include, also included are 2 sections of 4 in hard suction hose and there mounts This truck is a diamond in the rough but can be restored back to original with out much proble, The truck is 7 ft tall 21ft long and has a 13 ft wheel bas, I do not know how much it weighs but i would guess around 5-8 thousand lbs The truck is being sold as is NO warrant, The steering wheel is wood and in good shape the headlight do work
I will not sell any parts off the truc, I will NOT end the auction earl, There is no buy it now I have driven the truck up and down my road with out any problems The truck is located in Findlay ohio You are welcome to come look at it and here it ru, but no test drives The truck must be trailered because of no brakes and the old tire, I will not ship if you want it shipped you must make all the arrangement, but remember the pump is in peaces Feel free to ask any questions, NO foreign buyers
