*Tires just balanced and front end aligned

*Owner's Manual
*New Kanter carpet
*Very good pleated vinyl interior close to original sew-style of this model
*Excellent windshield and back lite
*Functioning turn signals, parking lights, headlights, and dual safety and courtesy light
*Excellent pot metal front fender reveal on right and left
*Engine runs beautifully and starts easily
*Over one pound of receipts showing new and rebuilt parts, services, etc. for fourteen years
*Car has been stored in covered area
*Nice front and rear clips which will re-plate well with a minimum of straightening
*Virtually no rust
*Currently registered vehicle
*Car is offered at NO RESERVE and substantially less than what has been recently invested
*Car is in Palmetto, GA (45 minutes southwest of Atlanta)
*I am a fifty-year member of The Packard Club and have a 100% E-Bay Feedback Rating
*You are welcome to inspect and drive the car by appointment
*This is Packard's premium senior hardtop and the last of the Detroit-built Packards; this car is very worthy of a restoration
*Although the odometer shows under 60,000 miles, just to be safe, I have added 100,000 to that figure
The Bad:
*Water pump is not leaking but is getting noisy
*Torsion Level suspension was working perfectly but is currently not functioning [probably a fuse or a cut or shorted wire]
*Beware...the photos belie that the tires have Denman port-o-walls!
*Air shocks were installed by previous owner and should be replaced with correct units to improve ride and stability
*Possible worn steering gear; despite recent alignment, car sometimes wanders
*Some bulbs need replacing
*Missing a good deal of stainless trim; some pieces of "Reynolds Wrap" will come with car, however
*Driver's door and rear window are cracked; front power windows worked until recently; many new parts were installed
*While there is no rust, there is one small nickel-sized hole in the trunk area, and there are extensive Bondo issues on body
*This car will need a good deal of TLC but it is a strong-running vehicle with good tires; it will drive onto a trailer with no assistance
*Original headliner is intact with all chrome bows, but there are matching holes (about 3" in diameter) on either side in the front area
*A well-meaning young man replaced some of the original dash knobs with wacky hot-rod versions and he pinstriped the glove box
*Trunk is out of alignment and should be adjusted before painting [Please paint it!]
*Left [driver's side] exhaust port is rusted through and will need to be repaired or replaced prior to re-plating
*Hood mascot is missing, as is trunk circle-and-vee; hood emblem also missing
*Needs all-new weatherstripping
*Steering wheel needs restoration, including replacement of broken horn ring
*Dashboard vinyl crash pad is missing...but you would want a new one anyway as the originals sag
*Car has near-mint Clipper wheel covers; the ardent restorer will want to add senior wheel covers to the restoration
The Ugly:
*Car was subject to "militarization" and needs some aesthetic help!
