1953 Packard Clipper Deluxe
Summer is back in Arizona. These cars have no A/C. I must either sell them or store them.
Take a drive down memory lane. This Series 2662 Packard is a very presentable hobby car to drive and enjoy and tinker with.
The original engine has been replaced with a good running, 9 main bearing, 327 flathead straight eight, S/N J603273. It has a 288 head, for higher compression, and was further upgraded with a Pertronix ignition conversion. The Ultramatic has been upgraded with a freshly rebuilt Chrysler 727 torqueflite transmission. The power steering has a rebuilt control valve assembly. It also has Power brakes. This car has solid body, with a recent repaint and has exceptionally nice chrome. The interior is presentable and very comfortable. The odometer shows 80k miles, which is believed to be original. It still wears the original style L78-15 Bias Ply Wide Whitewall tires. The clock and radio have quit. Additional spare parts are included.
Sold “AS-IS”. No warranty. Shipping is responsibility of the buyer.
