We've decided that it's time to let this car find a new home. Having owned this Packard for over 30 years we have poured literally thousands of dollars into her to make it safe and fun to drive but it really deserves to be taken to the next level. She looks gorgeous in pictures but trust me, he's a 20 footer! Originally black, he was painted (badly) 25 years ago or more.We had the engine has been professionally rebuilt, new wiring harness installed, uspension refreshed and gas tank boiled out. I wanted this car safe and reliable and thinking the cosmetics would come later. I purchased a donor car that had an entirely redone interior done in a nice soft blue gray. Also the owner of that car removed all the chrome and had it replated. It is still wrapped in the newspaper from platers. We stripped the donor car and took everything that we thought could be useable before giving the rest of the car body away. I have glass, ubber, oor sills-- you name it!. Unfortunately, imes change, astes changes and desires change and we are now into tiny microcars so the Packard was put on the back burner for too long. She runs wonderfully and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere ( after new tires are installed!). My hope is that someone out there will see the potential in her that we saw so many years ago and love love love her. At this points she needs tires and the old crappy paint job stripped off and repainted and then install the upholstery that is supplied.The car is available to be seen and driven anytime---
