The Clipper was introduced by Packard in April, 1941, as a mid-model yearentry.It was only available as a four door touring sedan on a Senior wheelbase.Following the closure of Packard's Michiganfactory in 1956, the Clipper was discontinued, although the Clipper name was applied to 1957 Packards built by Studebaker.
