1947 Packard Clipper all Original NO RESERVE
1947 Packard Clipper Description
1947 PACKARD CLIPPER 6. This is a GREAT CAR. It was stored their since 1972. Prior to that, the previous owner stated that it was purchased from a couple in Alabama, and the car originated from Texas. The car spent it's life in the south and it can be confirmed, due to the low amount of rust for it's vintage. IT HAS NEVER BEEN RESTORED OR MOLESTED! ORIGINAL PAINT The mileage as recorded on the car is 9,381 and noted so on the title. The speedometer DOES NOT WORK, and looking at the condition, it is probably not correct. The following was done to get it "running"': New battery, fuel pump, water pump, oil filter, plugs, wires and distributor cap. The motor fired right up. The brake hoses, master cylinder, and 2 front slave cylinders were replaced and new brake fluid added..Note: it still retains a 6V positive ground electrical system. Headlights, tail lights, and dash lights, horn are functional. It STARTS RIGHT UP! IT DRIVES!., but.. it needs work. The floor boards are all solid, body parts are clean and free from any filler. It's a great piece of AMERICANA and can be brought back to it's original state. Please understand what you are buying. If you are comfortable with vintage autos and understand their rarity and operation, this is for you!
