1940 Packard model 110 Resto-rod $15,000
You will certainly get noticed driving around in this rare Packard model 110. Packard Motor Car Company produced the model 110 in 1940, 1941 and 1942. This resto-rod has all original steel body exterior and the original bumpers and hub caps and a genuine 1940 California license plate. The back doors are suicide doors, and that gets a lot of attention when your passengers get out of the car. The powertrain is a Chevy 350 ci engine with 350 Hydro transmission pushing a Ford rear end and the steering column is from a 1964 Cadillac. It’s been a terrific car to drive around, but now it’s time for a change for us and this presents an opportunity for you. She’s not perfect, there are some paint chips and bubbles and the interior has some loose fabric and carpets. She is a little difficult to start when she’s cold and there will be the occasional drip of oil. The engine and trans were rebuilt by the previous owner about 5,000 miles ago. When we bought it we took it to a mechanic and he gave it a good once over, changed all the fluids and tuned it up. My wife and I have put about 1,000 miles on the car and we have enjoyed every one of them.
