1982 Peugeot Other Description

It is rare to see a 1982 Peugeot Turbo Diesel S this nice in the States.
A small spot of surface rust is on the trunk, ear the rear wheel and some small amount near the front reflector. All in the pictures. This car is 99.5% rust free
It has been garaged for many years . I believe about 14. The body and interior were great as they came out of storage but as you would expect I had to have the brakes, oses, elts etc all done. To follow is a list of what was done.
New Calipers, ads and Break linesNew Exhaust systemNew Vacuum PumpNew Belts, any new hosesNew fuel and oil filter. All requiredmaintenancewas done.I also had a fuel injector rebuilt.
This car has amazingmaintenancerecords all the way from purchase to 111,000 miles in 1997.
AC and allamenitieswork. It has acassetteplayer/stereo - not original to the car.
The dash is in very good shape. Near the cassette player some of the plastic cracked.Thedigitalclock is not working.
It starts and runs very well. It is slow toacceleratefrom a stop and does puff some black smoke. That leads me to believe is it the EGR or air fuel mixture. I have not had it looked at yet.
The turbo kicks in as the engine RPMs increase.
