1980 Plymouth Road Runner Description

Final year 1980 Plymouth Road Runner, 1 of only 496 made! Is it as cool as an early Road Runner? No. But than again you can't buy an early Road Runner in this condition for this price! It is very cool as a muscle car name that made it to 1980 (most were gone by then). It was modified by a young guy in the 1990's and is period correct; rear end up on shackles with the wide tires sticking out of the fenders just a bit and most of all has Cherry Bomb mufflers that sound great! I was told that this is a two owner car when I purchased it.
This car has virtually NO rust and mostly original paint and stickers (the right front fender has been painted). It has the rare original 3 piece rear spoiler. Overall body is good with some dings and scrapes on both sides and the paint is a bit thin in some spots but looks great for its age.
The interior looks great too with only a couple of tears in one spot on the drivers seat.
The Road Runner is powered by a mild 318 with an Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb as well as Hedman headers and Cherry Bomb mufflers. This car runs great! Recent repairs include: new battery, fuel pump, water pump, starter, carburetor rebuild and tune up with spark plugs and wires. 3-speed auto trans shifts firm like a performance car should. And the DEALER INSTALLED A/C is cold! Original #'s matching engine comes with car also!
