1929 PLYMOUTH RUMBLE SEAT ROADSTER

I am pleased to offer this very rare (when did you last see one?) 1929 Plymouth Roadster Model U with the Rumble Seat and true wire wheels. This Plymouth appears to be an older restoration that has aged gracefully but should be redone to look show worthy. What is important is that it is a very solid car and mostly complete. I do not have an owner’s manual or the jacking tools. I have pictured areas that could be of concern so please patiently look at them carefully. I think that the wire wheels are rare for this car and my research tells me that they are an option, either way they really add a European look to the car. The 4 cylinder engine starts easily as it is aided by an electric fuel pump. The roadster top is in good condition with a small tear on the right side and is complete with all 4 side curtains. I failed to provide a picture of them but if needed I can do so. I have only driven this car for a few miles but it does run well and stops great with its hydraulic brakes. KY bidders will add 6% usage tax and $199 transfer/doc fees. The partial payment is non-refundable, unless we fail to deliver the goods as described. Balance will be due within 7 business days of the close of the auction. Any exceptions to be worked out before the completion of the sale. Auctions ending on a Friday or holiday will be addressed the follow business day. We will be happy to assist the new owner in arranging transportation from our nearby airport, Lexington Bluegrass Field, at no extra charge.
