1967 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible Description

Up for auction is this beautiful 1967 Barracuda Convertible, Artic White Exterior with Jet Black Interior & Top. The engine is a 360 ci with a new Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor. The tranny is a 727, 3-speed automatic and the rear end is a Sure-Grip Posi, 8 ¾ inch (“489” casting number) with a 3.55 (39-11) gear ratio.

The entire drive train has been rebuilt to include engine, tranny, driveshaft and rear end and mounts. The front end has been rebuilt with new parts to specs (including alignment) and the rear end has new shocks with new Hotchkis leaf springs.

The car sports new Cooper, Radial tires with new American Racing Outlaw II, brushed, chrome wheels.

The ignition system has all new components to include distributor, distributor cap, wires, coil and electonic points (Pertronix).

The power brake booster, alternator, starter and radiator have been rebuilt with new belts. New brake master cylinder with all new front brake lines & hoses. The front sports power disc brakes with new calipers and the rear drums have new pads and brake cylinders. Emergency brake included.

The interior has been defined in new carpet, new front and rear upholstery and foam, new console shifter and shifter assemble (very tight). New Pioneer Radio/CD player with front door speakers. The top is in great shape with no tears and the rear window is clear with no yellowing or cracks.

The top mechanically functions flawlessly with a new Black Top Boot. The glass is in great shape. The windshield shows some wiper rash. New front and rear bumpers and new exterior paint. New weather striping throughout the car.

Kept receipts for all parts and work done and will be make available on request.
