1948 Plymouth Other Description

1948 Plymouth coupe rat rod with a all mechanical 8v71n Detroit diesel and a 13 speed transmission with a 276 rear gear,It sits on a 1/4x2x4 frame rails and 1.3/4 tube chassis. It is spring ride in front and air ride in rear. The front 5' frame rails are off a semi. It all sits on 11r22.5 rubber. It has a 35 gallon aluminum fuel tank and it gets 10ish miles per gallon. (It loves 90mph) and will run well over triple digits. This car gets way crazy attention so buyer beware...Ok so it's known as frankincar or freakincar, it's all steel and weighs in at 9,750lbs it is 17.5 feet long, And yes it fits in a parking space.a and yes power steering...I have driven this car everywhere from Indiana to Florida, Missouri to South Carolina. It is reliable and will tow whatever you are willing to drag! Also it is a non turbo Detroit it is very loud as it is straight piped.
I have every picture from the blueprints throughout its whole creation I would be glad to give them as well...

I am willing to deliver it personally if a arrangement is reached! I would be glad for anyone to come and look at it and go for a ride the car is located at my home in Rockwood Tennessee.I am a first timer on eBay I don't email but I will text or call any time or for other photos (931-260-4008) Dave

On Dec-12-16 at 18:07:51 PST, seller added the following information:

I have been asked by several if I was interested in trade, maybe but if the reserve is met, then it will sell... text pictures to my cell (931-260-4008) feel free to call I love to talk or I can text...But please don't email. unless you have to...How does it ride! If the road is good it rides good. It is on air ride in the rear,Brakes are 90% front and rear, and stops on a dime, With that being said brakes will last for years. It does have semi axles under it. And you needs NO CDL or endorsements to drive it. My 16 year old son drives it to school and to shows.I have also been asked how tall is it... The car is 4'11 inches tall to the top of the car.5' 5 inches to the top of the stacks.
More questions, it does run cool in traffic all day long, it has a electric fan that seldom runs. It has a 8 gal cooling system.New parts 2yr ago at the build.Wheel bearings, king pins and brakes in front. New radiator hoses belts and alternator. The motor is solid and never given any trouble,The rear end all new seals fresh oil brake chambers brakes and bushings, and air bags, all new air lines and valves,This is not a car body on a semi. It is all tube except for the motor cradle...
It's ready to drive anywhere and I promise "Fact" side by side to a new Lamborghini this car will get more attention. I got cursed out by a financially well-endowed fellow because people was getting more pic of mine...I personally liked his store bought car more...lol...
