1970 Plymouth Barracuda Grab Coupe Description

Of all the things this system lets you do I CANNOT FIX THE TYPO 'GRAB COUPE'? SMH...

This auction is for an original owner (registered ONCE) 1970 Plymouth Barracuda Gran Coupe.

This a running & driving car that stops, steersand CAN ACTUALLY BE USED AS A DAILY DRIVER.

THE GOOD POINTS: Theframe rails, torsion bar mount and structure is SOLID. 90% of the floors are either rust free or have haze rust. It starts with two pumps of the gas pedal.Minor smoke that clears when it warms up. The transmission functions well. The manual drum brakes andmanual steering work well. The single exhaust system is solidand quiet whenthe car is running.THE GRILLE IS FLAWLESS structurally and would only require cosmetic restoration. All the trim is there, only one or two pieces are dinged or scraped. The interior is complete with only the carpet needing replacement. The overhead console is intact. The seats will require restoration but your butt and back will feel just fine is you drive it now. I base this as ABOVE driver quality.

THE BAD POINTS: Most of the rust is bad in the cowl, the rear wheel wells the roof and drivers side windshield a-pillar. The vinyl top caused rust to make the roofline porous allowing moisture to reach the passenger floor. EMAIL ME FOR DETAILED PICTURES FOR AREAS OF RUST YOU NEED TO SEE. The headlights did not work. Only the front passenger side turn signal FLASHED. The remaining turn signal lit up but did not flash. I am unsure if the gauges in the non rally dash work. I do know that the gas gauge works.

THE MEDIOCRE INSIGNIFICANT: It is only a 318 car. It only has a 7 1/4 rear. It has manual drum brakes and manual steering. The Magnum 500's may not be original because unlike the maniacal genius on 'Graveyard Cars' I am unsurewhat the deluxe wheel cover option means. I haveonly ownedaround nine E bodies and have suffered COUNTLESS head injuries.

THE TERMS: I would like potential SERIOUSbidders to send me your phone number and when to contact you. I will forward the contact # to my friend that I am listing it for and he will call you. IF YOU ASK HIM TO HAVE ME VIOLATE EBAY'S POLICIES I WILL UNLEASH DELIGHTFUL HORRORS UPON YOU. But just to reiterate: contact me for more pictures and to send your phone number. I TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUSLY, I sold my friends '69 Daytona to a guy in Australia and another friends 1930 Model A Ford pick up to a guy in California. I EXPECT ALL PARTIES INVOLVED TO HANDLE THEIR BUSINESS CORRECTLY, I go above and beyond to represent mylistings correctly and to see that every facet of the transaction is handled WELL.

THE MONEY: I will verify that the engine and transmission are numbers matching. HOWEVER, regardless whether or not such is the case I feel I priced the car accordingly. I could argue with expert and fool alike about the state of the market and hobby. This is a one owner first year Plymouth E Body that afterbuying items like lights and filtersandputting in very little effort you can beDRIVING a 1970 Barracuda. If you hit the buy it now prior to contact you should be prepared to handle any contingency. A deposit to cover my fee's will be required by PayPal immediately at the end of the auction. Payment for the vehicle will be cash in person upon pick up of the car, THESE ARE THE DETAILS IMPERATIVE to contacting myself and speaking with the owner PRIOR to bidding or committing to the BUY-IT-NOW.

Please read my feedback. Please read this listing thoroughly. I thank you for looking and I remain. Jeff
