1938 Plymouth Other Commercial Sedan Delivery Description

1938 Plymouth Sedan Delivery. Been stored inside for 30 years. Only 1601 produced in 1938. The floors in these were mainly wood with steel inserts at the front fire wall area. I have all new cross members for the floor area I fabricated from 16 gauge galvanized steel. Original single bucket seat. Front doors that are basically rust free from a pickup. The top back corners are round on the pick up and square on the delivery but its only the outside skin that is different. I have the original doors also. The top front of the roof is rusted from a mouse nest and I have a inner & outer section that is rust free for replacing. The lower what I call rocker panels was rusted out on right side so I fabricated replacements and have one installed. Still needsinstallation at cab frontThe wheel well edge on the rear is rusted where the fender bolts on. I had bead roller dies turned out on a CNC to form new panel in this area and also along the bottom edge of body. I will include the dies. I have a good windshield frame, with rare crank-out. Have window regulators for all doors. Single back door has roll down window also. No glass included. Frame is real solid. I don't think it would even have to be boxed for a mild V8. Its 4 spring with solid front axle. Motor and trans are there but I don't believe they have any value. Grill shell is rough at the bottom, Insert is very poor. I have all 4 hood sections. Center hood hinge is gone. No hood ornament. I have decent set of headlight buckets that match originals in size and shape but mounting bracket has to be rotated 180 degrees. Ihave 3 rear fenders, I was going to go with the Glass pick-up fenders but the steel ones could be fixed. Running boards are shot but steel reproductions are available. EBay does not have non titled available so listing as Salvage. Purchased from non-title state. Check with your DMV for title requirements. Most states now have ways to title Antique Cars easily and legally. I have bill of sale only with Serial number plate and matching stamped frame numbers.
