1940 Plymouth Other Coupe Description

For sale is a 1940 Plymouth 2 door coupe street rod. Too many vehicles and not enough time or money to devote to this great street rod. This has been painted by one of the best in the state of Maine. A beautiful pearl white with a base coat of purple so when the sun is on this beauty it sparkles. Also ghost flames in the front really make this stand out and draws lots of attention. It does have some damage to the left rear fender but is not serious-an easy fix, see photo. This has a 440ci Mopar engine and 4 speed manual transmission, no problem power wise! The rear end is a 9" Ford and the front clip is a Mustang. The frame is custom and, of course, no rust or corrosion anywhere. It goes down the road great and mechanically is in very good condition. It needs someone to finish the project by installing an interior. The tires have about 1500 miles on them and are like new. Over all, this is a great street rod and with a custom interior would be a real stand out in the crowd. Not many 40 Plymouth rods out there especially powered with a big block 440! Please note: Maine does not require a title so no title even though in the description it shows clear- sorry the only option I had. I can obtain a title if you need one though at no charge.
