1966 Plymouth Belvedere ll 440 4-speed GTX Wheels & tires - NO RESERVE!!!
1966 Plymouth Other GTX Wheels Description
NO RESERVE!!!! Starting price is the value of the engine & tranny ALONE! Here is a "GTX" style B bodied 2 door hardtop Plymouth Belvedere ll in the very RARE & popular Richard Petty Blue, made famous by his race car from the period. It has the King of Mopar Muscle car engines, the 440 cu in 4 barrel carb that purrs til it ROARS. It's coupled to its 4 speed standard tranny that shifts great. Car is a "daily driver" so NO major issues to speak of. It does have 4 brand new GTX wheels with 4 brand new tires on it as well as all new 2 1/2" full Stainless Steel exhaust that sounds sweet. It has a bench seat up front with a brand new seat cover on it and brand new door panels as well. Engine runs great with NO oil usage issues at all. Car was a Factory 383 4-speed car when new but has had the 440 in it for many years with NO problems. Just a good Muscle car to take to shows, ice cream runs or to impress your friends at Golf night. This is a NO RESERVE auction so the car IS getting sold. Like SO many others, PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MINE! I put this on to SELL it, so DON'T "dick me around" please. If you have NO feedback DON'T BID before contacting me! Or if you need to talk to your Mommy, your wife, your Bank, your Priest, ANY one.....DO IT BEFORE YOU BID also. I too take this very serious. My 100% rating should tell you. I HONESTLY convey what I sell and the man I'm selling this for just wants it GONE to put the $$$ in his home (cuz HIS wife HAS spoken). Also, if you HAVE questions, ask them. I'll honestly answer them. If you're a BUYER, I'll send you what you need to MAKE you the buyer.....just remember.....MY time is valuable too. Don't ask me to take pictures of the air in the tires or the top of the muffler if you DON'T really "need" things like that. Like many other ads have said too, this is NOT a "trailer Queen"....it's a DRIVER so don't expect a paint job on it that costs more than this entire car. It's a NICE reliable, fast, attention getting, good looking car for WELL UNDER the Haggerty value estimate of $19K to $26,800. I WILL gladly help with loading to YOUR shipper OR I CAN offer you phone #'s of shippers that I've successfully used in the past. NO TRADES either cuz that just NEVER seems to work. Best of luck to the winner of this car that should EASILY make them $5-10K ABOVE their purchase price. B bodies only going UP in value. Bid confidently & if you WANT to "buy it now", make me an offer OVER my starting bid, and we'll STRONGLY consider it. Fran
NOTE.....the Red Camaro in 1 of the pix is NOT part of this deal!
UPDATE.....Friday 9:20 EST. OK a lot of you wanted pic's that I wasn't really ready to give yet cuz the new seat cover JUST came in TODAY & my plan was to put that on tomorrow. That pic shows it NOT ON YET....so the crappy Wal Mart special 1 is what you see on it now. Sry. The new cover IS a Mopar OEM cover ($400). Some asked about the frame....I WILL photograph that tomorrow & post it but the frame has NO issues and IS in good shape. Also asked about the trunk area & you can see from the pix it is rot free and solid. Remember, this IS a SOLID car but it's NOT a $100K restoration so for 10-15% of that price, expect a VERY GOOD car that isn't "perfect". Seat cover & door panels will make this car show great but...(found out TODAY that the door panels are "backordered" & maybe 3 more weeks but WILL be included) and are SIMPLE to install. I'll photograph the ID plate too cuz a couple of you have asked for that, but read on below please.
Also, decoded the Serial Number too. It's as follows. RH23G67283662 The first R is for Plymouth Belvedere (ll in this case). The H meant it was in a "high" price class. The 23 simply means 2 door & Hardtop. The G show's it came with a "B" body 383 engine originally. The 6 is for 1966. The 7 means it was built in St Louis MO & the last 6 #'s are the build sequence.
