1968 Plymouth Satellite Custom Convertible

Plymouth did not make a Convertible Road Runner in 1968, but if they did this is what it would looked like….powered by a Big Block 383 w/ 4 BRRL, 4 speed (converted from an automatic tranz) Front bench seats (no center console)

Bottom to Top restoration (2007 with less than 750 miles since restoration) Garage keep never driven rain or snow. Replaced trunk and floor pans, quarters, windshield, wheel houses. Legendary interior and door panels. Old Style Vinyl Top replace with Canvas (Rear window glass of course). TTI Performance Exhaust with “X pipe) Mopar electronic ignition with electric fuel pump.Hedman (shorty) Header. Tubular upper control arms. Unisteer Performance Rack and pinion steering. Wilwood front power Disc Brake Conversion.

Color is (Honda) Redondo Red Pearl. Body is solid with NO RUST all fender edges are sharp. No wear or rips in seats or door panels. Bumpers and Tail light bezels rechromed. Wheel wells undercoated to protect inner fenders paint and for sound proofing. Interior floor covered with heat restrictor and sound proofing material.

Minus: Because the restoration is 10 year old there are a couple of light scratches Gas gauge does not work (I replaced the fuel sender but that was not the problem….I have a new gauge but have not installed, will include new gage with sale of car. There is a leak in the power steering (working on it). Window guides need replacing and adjusting (rattles and gaps). Gas tank has dent from jack (no leak). I have acquired a ’65 Satellite and need the space and time to work on it.

If you are thinking of making a “GTX Clone” or “Road Runner Clone” I have the proper hood and 383 inserts which I will include with sale at no extra charge (needs stripping and repaint)
