1938 Plymouth coupe street rod
1938 Plymouth Other Base Description
I purchased this car in March of 2003 in Arizona. To the best of my knowledge this car has been in Arizona it's entire life, it's a rust-free survivor. The car has 30,000 miles on it now and had approximately 21,000 miles on it when I purchased it. In 2005 I replaced the 305 that came with the car with a 400 small block Chevrolet engine. The engine has ZZ4 aluminum cylinder heads, Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock 750 carb and an MSD ignition system. The camshaft is a 488 lift with roller rockers. The car is equipped with a 350 turbo trans and a Ford rear end. The front suspension consists of a Mustang II OEM style which consists of stamped steel control arms with strut rods and disc brakes, rod lite wheels and Goodyear tires. The paint on this car is extremely nice for a 20 year old build. The color is Toyota Misty Plum with an extremely nice flame job. The interior is near perfect. The rest of the equipment on the car consists of power seats, power windows, air conditioning, heater, stereo andtilt wheel. The car drives out very well, steers and stops straight. The trunk is completely finished and is big enough for a small family. These early Plymouth business coupes are extremely rare and hard to find, especially one this nice. Call Chuck 602-909-1406. Interesting trades will be considered. The car is locatedin Manvel, ND, which is near Grand Forks in the northeast corner of the state.Happy bidding!
