1968 Satellite Convertible
Silver Satellite Convertible, This car looks nicer than most Road Runners on the road, extensive restoration with beautiful silver paint and gorgeous red interior, extremely solid car, black power soft top, the engine comparment is clean, clean clean, strong running 318 gets with the program at half the price of a real Road Runner. Rolling on brand new chrome magnum rims and looking good.
EXTERIOR
This incredible silver Satellite is the exact same B body as the more expensive Road Runners, but half the price, The silver paint is gorgeous and painted over a straight and sold original survivor intact metal body with great panel fit and factory pinch welds intact. The paint was professionally done and has great consistency in the silver pigment. The floors are clean solid and intact from new bumper to new bumper, Lots of new chrome and stainless, new grill and bezels. New tail lights and bezels. New correct Road Runner stripes over the correct Road Runner bulge hood and correct Road Runner badging. The trunk is painted in body color as you would expect of a car of this quality.
INTERIOR
The interior is like a new car. New Legendary seat covers, door panels, carpet, black power top and matching convertible boot. Great instrumentation and a crack free dash which looks new as well. Very nice steering wheel with a new Road Runner horn button. The odometer shows 686121 miles which appears to be actual based on the previous owner history and the incredible condition of the car.
MECHANICS
Under the hood is amazing. The inner fenders and cowl are painted in body color that is just nice as the rest of the car. The 318 has been rebuilt to add a little more power to the drive train. The automatic on the column shifts beautifully and occasionally will squeak the tires at stop lights. The power steering makes turning easy and can be done with one finger.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The undercarriage is solid and intact and has stood the test of time. New exhaust has a nice rumble to it. The car is rolling on a brand new set of deep dish Chrome Magnum wheels that set the car off and look much nicer than the painted originals.
