1971 Plymouth Road Runner Description

I have for sale a 1971 road runner, This is a real road runner(RM23N) NOT a clone. Pic of fender tag w/ decoding verifies all info. & vin #, of course VIN & fender tag are on the road runner. The car was originally Sherwood Metallic green w/ Drk. Green interior & a 383 4brl w/ 727 auto. on column shift, bench seat and was built at Windsor,Ontario (Canada) plant. It also featured performance stripes & turn signal indicators along w/ dual painted mirrors (drivers side remote, Inside hood release & inside remote trunk release & of course dual exhaust. The car has standard 11" manual drum brakes front/rea, power steering & 8 3/4 rear (unknown ratio.) The road runner does have it's original #'s matching 383 4brl HP Engine. It is not currently running, I have never tried to turn it over or start it. Engine is very clean inside valve covers. It does have original '71 distributor, HP manifolds, cast iron intake, but carb is a newer Edelbrock. Trans as mentioned is a 727 auto & I have not looked to see if it's #'s matching.
This car obviously needs restored but is a very worthwhile project. The 1/4 panels have NOT been replaced. The road runner will need body work and or metal/ panel replacement of some areas, again needs restored. The trunk lid bottom is rusted & lid should be replaced. Will need drivers side floor pan replaced, passenger side is still nice shape, trunk floor needs extensions replaced. Front frame rails & inner fender wells are solid. The engine compartment still has original paint, hood hinge mounting areas, shock & upper "A arm" mounts are solid too. The rear frame rails do have surface rust as pics show, but are not rotted away. Leaf spring mounts are intact & good condition. It does have rust on torsion bar support area on drivers side due to floor pan rust. The torsion bar mount itself is solid. The windshield is cracked all other glass intact, some of the trim is missing. I do NOT have the original front bench seat. Included w/ sale is a much nicer rear bumper. The title is clean/clear & in my name & I do have the keys (ignition, doors, trunk) along w/ '71 owners manual.
This is a used 1971 vehicle, sold as is / where is, no warranty !! The road runner will need mechanical & cosmetic restoration. Pa title is clean/clear & in my name. Car will need trailered/hauled away (buyers responsibility) it does NOT run/drive. Payment by cash in hand preferred, any otherform will need to clear 100% before car leaves my possession, no exceptions !! So, plan ahead if scheduling pick-up !! Thank You !!
