1968 RM21J8A Hemi Roadrunner
1968 Plymouth Road Runner Description
First off this is a true 1968 J code Hemi Roadrunner that as of this year is now 50 years old and still better looking than most of the plastic crap sold today. However this isnt your grandpas Hemi roadrunner, this is a bonafide badass Hemi Roadrunner with over 100 cubic inches under the hood being a 535ci Mopar mega engine with all the fine go fast goodies bringing it to 850hp. Backing that is a fully built race 727 auto trans with a 4500rpm stall converter and a Dana 60 with 4.30 gears getting her into the 9's down that 1/4 mile. It may have alot of go but it sure doesnt give up show as it is a really nice looking car that turns heads where ever it goes, if ur not the social type this aint the car for you because it draws attention especially when it fires up. That A4 silver paint job looks great and really accents the body lines of the roadrunner in all types of lighting. the body is also really solid with no rust and body stiffening braces like subframe connectors and torque boxes. when trying to get all that power down ur gonna need a decent tire under it so there has been a small mini tub done and leaf springs moved inward to allow that larger tire under it Another nice thing about this street/strip car is that it still retains the stock interior with just a few extra gauges to monitor the engine closer, race buckets(all 68 roadrunners were bench seat) and a certified 6 point roll cage. Now with that big motor some luxuries were sacrificedlike having manual 4 piston bendix disc brakes and power steering. It is already equippedwith a line lock too for burnout. This is a very fun car and will not be disappointed to own it. You will need a new exhaust system after the headers, the exhaust that was on the car was misplaced, right now it is open headers (sounds bitchin but not legal to drive on the streets) if you have any further questions about the car please call mike @7017977396
