1957 Plymouth Fury Belvedere Description

My brother and I are selling off our collection of cars, over the years we have bought many "barn find", and "survivor" cars, and created many of our own barn finds by storing them for so long, unfortunately the time has come to sell them off, and not replace them as we have done in the past. Please read the following description of this 1957 Plymouth, and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

1957 Plymouth Belvedere, stored since 1986, was not running when we got it, I am the second owner, and the car reportedly has 45K miles, the engine was not stuck, it did have some sticky valves, we had the head removed, and the valves freed up, a new head gasketand a new gas tank and sending unit installed, the original 6 cylinder engine runs very well, it does smoke when first started, this goes away when it is warmed up. The engine runs very smooth and quiet, we topped off the master cylinder, and I drove the car personally about 20 miles.

This 1957 Plymouth is mostly original paint, there was work done on the front fenders, over the headlights, and on the bottom of the fenders, the rockers are solid, and the quarters are in very good condition, any work that was done was over 35 years ago. The driver's side front floor has some minorrust through, the rest of the floors are very good, the trunk floor is near perfect, we inspected it when tank was removed. The body is straight, and the frame is perfect, bumpers are straight. all chrome is present, including one extra piece for the fin on the passenger side.

The interior of this 1957 is in ok condition, the seats are split where the vinyl meets the fabric, I have a complete set of 1957 vintage blue seat covers for the car to be installed with hog rings, they are includedthe door panels are very usable, and the dash is very nice, the headliner, has a few stains, but is 99% good and intact. Everything works, including the radio, and all lights, and fan for heat. This Plymouth is a 6 cyl, two tone paint, radio, heater, not a lot of options, well it was 1957!

This Belvedere would make a fun driver, or restore, you decide, I will be more than happy to show the car in person, or answer any questions you may have, I will get a picture of the floor on the drivers side and the headliner. Again, personal inspections are welcome, the car is stored in Bangor Pennsylvania, and has a good NJ title in my name, this Plymouth is being sold AS IS, NO Warranty Either Express or Implied, I am going to be listing more cars this month, to make some room in the garageperhaps for an on sight auction. I have a 100% feedback rating, so please be serious when bidding, no negative feedback bids will be accepted, and if you have a 0 feedback you have to contact me before your bid will be honored. Foreign bidders are more than welcome! Please be serious when bidding, a $1,000.00 pay pal deposit is require immediately by winning bidder, and balance is due within 3 days of auction close, I will work with foreign bidders that may require more time for transfer of funds. Good luck bidding, and please!! ask any questions you may have, I am happy to answer all that you may have.
