1970 Plymouth Road Runner Road Runner Description

NO RESERVE HIGHEST BIDDER WINS THIS 1970 ROAD RUNNEROkay folks,we have here a true Barn Find.RM23N0G161747.1970 Plymouth Road Runner 383 Automatic on the floor. The car was bought new in 1970 by a Chrysler worker here in St.Louis at the Fenton plant,Sometime around 1975 the original 383 engine blew up with 67000 miles on the odometer and it was parked (original engine and trans are long gone). The engine in the car now is a late 1969 383 (non hp) with a 727 transmission(engine is not stuck, otherwise condition is unknown).3.23 Suregrip is intact. The Road Runner is very solid, but will need a total restoration. The car came from the factory B5 blue with blue interior, rimblow steering wheel, buckets console am/fm radio(missing) am radio is in there now,3 speed wipers, tinted windows, non ac,manual steering, non vinyl top.Very little to NO RUST in this car,you will save thousands restoring this car by not having to replace a bunch of sheet metal.Fender tag intact, all body numbers match. There is a small amount of rust near the lower rear window corner, and down low on the outside quarters, will need center of trunk floor replaced or patched, but the trunk drops are beautiful as well as the rest of the SOLID FLOOR PANS,ROCKERS AND FRAME RAILS,it is an undercoated car(as per the ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER)included, with tons of paperwork and the original Missouri title. The car has never been "wrecked" although at some point the drivers fender was replaced(but is a very solid piece as well)The interior is complete, console body is broke on the back section.Good grille, all glass and trim are intact.Doors, fenders, roof are all solid as well as the quarters for the most part(patch panels down low?) Your decision. This is a great car to start an easy restoration on,or get it going mechanically and drive it like it is.You pull up at a car show in this car just like is it,you will get more attention than a fully restored car. That was my original thought, but cant keep em all.The wheels and tires on the car in the pics do NOT come with the car,it will have steel wheels with tires that hold air on it when you or your shipper come to pick it up.NO RESERVE. Ebay only allows 24 pictures,i have 50,message me for more pics if you need to.Please ask any and all questions before bidding.ThanksBuyer is responsible for payment and arrangement of shipping.500 dollar deposit due within 48 hours of auctions end.Full payment due in 7 days of auctions end via certified cashiers check, wire transfer or cash in person.
