1964 Canadian Plymouth Valiant
1964 Plymouth Valiant Description
1964 Canadian Plymouth Valiant completely restored original in, out and underneath - right down to the fender tag (see photo). Undercarriage was sand blasted and painted with black POR15 rust inhibitor paint. I've included a few of the restoration photos.
This car has the slant 6-cylinder, 225 cu. in. motor with a 3-speed on the steering column. This has to be one of the LAST, EXISTING 1964 4-door Canadian Plymouth Valiants IN THIS CONDITION. Don't be confused. This is not an American Valiant. The car has just over 37.8k original miles (not kilometers).
The car has been in 4 major shows, and took First Place every time. At the last show (WORLD OF WHEELS KANSAS CITY), the car took two additional trophies FOR BEST RESTORED MOTOR COMPARTMENT & BEST ORIGINAL RESTORED CAR IN ALL CLASSE, and a $150.00cash prize. In addition, it has been featured in the Kansas City Star newspaper, and a major (MOPAR) car magazine, The Plymouth Bulletin. Call anytime: 816-468-4801.
One reason so few of these cars exist in original condition is the fact that their curb weight was 2690 lbs, and many were converted to V8s. Converting this car would likely make it sell for a lot more money, but because of it's rarity, I preferred to leave it original.AS IS -NO WARRANTY.
