74 Plymouth Cuda restoration project, real Cuda, BS23G, VIN numbers match the cowl, radiator support, door sticker and the fender tag. The build sheet is kind of beat up, but the VIN and other options can be deciphered. Black interior, automatic on the floor, slap stick shifter with the console, tranny is gone (can provide 1972 904), car also comes with a non-matching 360 engine (original 318 not available). I was told the 360 engine was gone through and it looks really clean under the valve covers. Interior panels are in good shape, very useable. Very restorable car, floors, frame rails, torsion box, leaf spring perches are all solid. Cowl is good condition overall, however inner fender where the battery sits is rotted.
Problem areas are the rear tail panel and some weird rotting on the side of the roof, then there is typical stuff like rear quarters, trunk, deck lid, bottom of pass fender, some corner of the rear glass, I tried to show everything in the pics.
The car is wearing its original paint (GE7 burnished red), so you don’t have to go through years of old bodywork to begin the metal work. Glass is in good shape, seat frames and foam are good, have the engine harness, dash is all there, original wheels, original side mirrors, chrome around the windows and upper doors/decklid, 489case 8-3/4, dual bulge hood, front disc brakes, needs header panel, head liner and grill.
