1979 Plymouth Other Description

I am selling a 1979 Plymouth Trailduster 2 Wheel Drive I have a clear NC title. It is the Prospector edition. THIS IS A DAILY DRIVER AND NOT A SHOW CAR, However it gets lots of looks and comments when we go to the Cruse In's or take her camping. It has a Mopar 360 V-8 that has been recently overhauled. It also has a new Edelbrock Performance Carburetor, headers and I converted over to an HEI Ignition system. The transmission had also been rebuilt. It has been repainted once and the clear coat is coming off of the hood as shown in the pictures. The rest of the vehicle is in good shape. The interior is all original and is very good except a small tear in the drivers side seat. It does need to have the carpet replaced as it is very faded and worn. This year model has has the complete removable top. I have not taken the top off, but it can be done and you will have a nice convertible SUV Classic.

I purchased this vehicle from the estate of the 2nd owner, who bought it in 1980. I cleaned out the fuel system, repaired the brakes, and had the engine and transmission completely gone through. I have driven it daily back an forth to work and we use it you pull out camper. I am selling to since I have a 1958 truck to pull our 1954 camper. I am selling it as it with no warranty. It has over 100,000 miles and the speedometer works but has issues. It does a couple of small patches of rust "bubbles". One place on the tail gate and one behind the drivers door as listed in the pictures.

I have only used NON ETHANOL Gasoline in it since I had it rebuilt. It helps with the mileage and performance.

Please feel free to ask any questions as I try to be as straight forward as I can to the condition of the Trailduster. It is a good vehicle and a lot of fun, but it is 39 years old.

Just in case NO the Camper is NOT for Sale. Thanks for looking.
